True Israel Identified By The Deuteronomy 28 Curses

The book of Genesis tells us that True Israel or Yisrael, the ancient people of the bible or Hebrews were Yahuah's chosen people and that they could be identified by markers in Deuteronomy 28:15-46. For example, they would be taken captive and sent by Yahuah into slavery to serve in a land that is not theirs, be afflicted 400 years, and only be delivered when Yah Himself judges the nation to which He sent His People. Genesis 15:14.

Psalms Reference to Back Wounds

Psalm 129:1-4

A song of ascents. Many a time they have persecuted me from my youth, but they have not prevailed against me. The plowmen plowed over my back; they made their furrows long. Yahuah is righteous; He has cut me from the cords of the wicked.…BSB

Contemporary English Version

though my back is like a field that has just been plowed."

Right to left. Enslaved Hebrews working a field, Man with back scars from repeated whipping wounds, Boy tied up in a picture after the Emancipation Proclamation from PBS documentary-Slavery By Another Name, Young woman with haunting eyes. You cannot see that she was told to expose her breasts in this photo. We can imagine that our face might look quite similar if we were in her position and  powerless to do anything about it. These are Hebrew people. In the African Diaspora, we know and feel this very look on an almost daily basis.

Who Sang the Songs of Zion?

Psalms 137 KJV

By the Rivers of Babylon

(Ezekiel 1:1-3) Here, Ezekiel tells us he was taken among these captives.

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.

For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion (Jerusalem).

How shall we sing the Yahuah's song in a strange land?

If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.Part of the curse on Israel is that we would forget who we are and our homeland.

If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.Jerusalem is our true Home and Jerusalem (ZION) is a mountain and a People.

Remember, O Yahuah, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Raze it, raze it, even to the foundation thereof. The children of Edom (Esau's descendants) furthered our affliction.

O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.Yahuah's appointed judgement on Babylon.

Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones. This was done to Hebrew babies during the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
