July 2021: Walking Through Proverbs

Walking Through Proverbs-12:28 KJV

The Way of the Righteous and The Way of the Wicked

July 2, 2021

28 In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

We all walking a path into our future and each path we walk leads into eternity. Which eternity we end up in depends on how we live our lives now. All that we say and do is a record of how we lived out the life that Yahuah has given us.

Are we living our lives before Yahuah in righteousness? When we go about our day, are we conscious of how our words, actions, and behaviors appear before our righteous Elohiym, His people and Gentile nations? Have we put to death the way of lying and deceiving others? Do we dishonor Yahuah by living as if He has no standards or consequences for Yisrael?

We will all have to give an account one day for what we are doing in the  bodies He gave us. Store up your treasurers in heaven with deposits of holy and righteous living. Don't sow seeds of discord and wickedness that will credit your soul to Sheol and permanent separation from your Creator.

Walking the narrow path that leads to eternal life ensures that our feet do not slip onto that wide path that leads to ultimate destruction and loss of our soul.

Have a blessed Sabbath, Shabbat, and Samba.

Walking Through Proverbs 13:20-25 KJV

The Way of the Righteous and The Way of the Wicked

July 4, 2021

20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repaid.

22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

23 Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.

24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.

As we continue to learn and grow in our knowledge and application of Torah, we should also keep in mind that we are laying the foundation for righteous living again for our children and future generations. We should be teaching them the ways of Torah and to walk out Yahuah's righteous path. This is the greatest inheritance we could ever give to and leave with our children-and if we do not do it for our own, no one else will.

Walking Through Proverbs 14:34 NLT

The Way of the Righteous and The Way of the Wicked

34 Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people.

Yisrael or Yah's Israel is a small nation right now. We are the remnant of a great people. Our greatness does not come from ourselves, but from our Elohiym who makes us great in spirit. He teaches us how to be righteous and holy and set apart from the rest of the world so that we might be the example of a holy, set apart people to the world. We are to lead by example, so ask Yahuah to help you be a great representative for Him on the earth.

In the world, some of us worked hard to make our bosses, supervisors, and managers look good-hoping that would lead to better outcomes for us. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not. However, Yahuah does not operate like that. Anytime we represent anything good or righteous or noble, it is not of our own doing, but His righteousness and holiness reflecting through us.

Yahuah does care about His image-not as a man or woman does, but He does not like to be misrepresented as something He is not. Yahuah is righteous and holy and just. He is not like anyone or anything we've ever known. When we behold the beauty of nature and the seasons, it is His handiwork we are admiring. When we smile listening to the laughter of children or the coo of a baby, we are admiring His handiwork in the lives of man. We are HIs greatest creation-created in His image and likeness.

Let's represent HIm well, as we would like our own children to do for us.

Shalom.

Walking Through Proverbs 15:31-33 KJV

The Way of the Righteous and The Way of the Wicked

July 8, 2021

31 The ear that hears the rebukes of life Will abide among the wise.

32 He who disdains instruction despises his own soul, But he who heeds rebuke gets understanding.

33 The fear of Yahuah is the instruction of wisdom, And before honor is humility.

Yahuah has shown Himself over and over again to be a loving and disciplining Father. If He did not love us, He would not correct the errors of our ways. Because He loves us, He disciplines us through His word. Hebrews 5:8 says, Yahusha learned obedience through the things He suffered.

Suffering for righteousness is on the path of the upright, as is persecution. Whoa! We, Yisrael usually don't like to hear this, but it is the truth. We cannot pour out our hearts to Yahuah asking Him to change us and create a clean heart within us if we do not suffer some things.

This very unpopular topic was not taught in my previous Christian experience. I thought if I lived "right", I could expect a better future. I thought if I lived "wrong", I could expect hardship. When I did what I knew to be right, but still experienced hardships, I was confused. Not just for myself and my family, but for our people. This is what led me to the "Hebrew Awakening".

Now that I understand who we are and why we are here (wherever we were carried away captive), I understand that Yahuah is still proving us and correcting us as we walk out of our faith. Be encouraged that He is the only One who is truly in control. He will never allow us to suffer more than we can bear. When He brings us through, we will give Him ALL the glory.

Walking Through Proverbs 16:32-33 KJV

New Players & Things and Old Agendas

July 10, 2021

32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

33 The lot is cast into the lap, but the whole disposing thereof is of Yahuah.

The days ahead are not like any we have ever seen although, in Israel, we understand that life has a way of repeating itself. Same types of people, fiercer weapons, but the agendas are all the same.

If you are righteous, you know that all the nations of the world are but a drop in a bucket. You know Yahuah sits on His throne observing all the evil and good in the world. Nothing the wicked does take Him by surprise. Try explaining this scripture:

Verse 4 of this proverb reads, Yahuah hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

There is truly nothing completely new under the sun. At the same time, we must understand and prepare if we are to be counted worthy to endure until the end. Don't let anyone or anything distract you from your place in heaven.

In our patience, We possess our souls (unto Yahuah only) Luke 21:19

Walking Through Proverbs 17:1-3 KJV

A Time of Refining

July 16, 2021

1 Better is a dry morsel with quietness, Than a house full of [a]feasting with strife.

2 A wise servant will rule over a son who causes shame and will share an inheritance among the brothers.

3 The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the Lord tests the hearts.

Shalom Family,

Sometimes having less is actually more in the long term.

Sometimes an inheritance goes to one least expected but found worthy.

Sometimes adversity is only a test of our character from Yahuah.

In Yahuah, we have hope and a future, but it is only for the righteous who endure until the end. When is the end? When the cup of the gentiles is full and judgment commences. It is not enough to escape His judgment of the nations only to perish in the wilderness (another testing). I pray that Yah's people understand the times, search our own hearts, and prepare for His appearance.

Oh Yah, that we might be counted worthy to dwell in the secret place of Your tabernacle as what has been prophesied comes to pass.

Walking Through Proverbs 18:10 KJV

A Time of Refining

July 18, 2021

10 The name of Yahuah is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Our deliverance as a nation and a people has always been in the plan of Yahuah. However, knowing His name is only part of our deliverance. As we live and move and have our being, is His name in us? When He appears, when He sees His reflection in us? That is the true test of whether or not He will be our salvation.

Walking Through Proverbs 19:16 KJV

A Time of Refining

July 19, 2021

16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.

Another word for keep is guard, so if we guard Yahuah's commandment to obey and follow His guidelines for our lives, we are guarding our own souls against the day of judgment. Notice that Yahuah does not do this for us. We Must choose this of our own will and when we do, Yahuah marks us as His. If we do not guard our souls Family, we are still making a choice that does not lead to everlasting life. A choice that is not for Yahuah is for the world's best system. We will serve one or the other, but not both. Shalom.

Walking Through Proverbs 20:4-5 NLT

A Time of Refining

July 20, 2021

4 Those too lazy to plow in the right season will have no food at the harvest.

5 Though good advice lies deep within the heart, a person with understanding will draw it out.

While it is still called Today Yisrael, let us seek Yahuah with our whole heart and turn from our own way, so that He will save us and lift us up.

For everything, there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 1:1.

Walking Through Proverbs 21:30-31 NLT

A Time of Refining

July 21, 2021

30 No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against Yahuah.

31 The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to Yahuah.

Walking Through Proverbs 22:1-5 NLT

A Time of Refining

July 22, 2021

  • 1Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.

  • The rich and poor have this in common: Yahuah made them both.

  • A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

  • True humility and fear of Yahuah. lead to riches, honor, and long life.

  • Corrupt people walk a thorny, treacherous road; whoever values life will avoid it.

Walking Through Proverbs 22:29-35 NLT

A Time of Refining

July 23, 2021

29 Who has anguish? Who has sorrow?

Who is always fighting? Who is always complaining?

Who has unnecessary bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes?

30 It is the one who spends long hours in the taverns, trying out new drinks.

31 Don’t gaze at the wine, seeing how red it is, how it sparkles in the cup, how smoothly it goes down.

32 For in the end it bites like a poisonous snake;it stings like a viper.

33 You will see hallucinations, and you will say crazy things.

34 You will stagger like a sailor tossed at sea, clinging to a swaying mast.

35 And you will say, “They hit me, but I didn’t feel it. I didn’t even know it when they beat me up. When will I wake up, so I can look for another drink?”

This is the cup of Babylon. You can read more about it in the book of Revelations.

My prayer for our people is that we wake up to Truth and stop drinking it. Yahuah is gracious and merciful. He will forgive our drunkenness and heal our brokenness if we humble ourselves before Him. Be blessed.

Walking Through Proverbs 24: 11-12 NLT

A Time of Refining

July 24, 2021

11 Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to die;

save them as they stagger to their death.

12 Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.”

For Yahuah understands all hearts, and he sees you.

He who guards your soul knows you knew.

He will repay all people as their actions deserve.

Walking Through Proverbs 25: 28 NLT

A Time of Refining

July 25, 2021

28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Walking Through Proverbs 26: 1-5 KJV

A Time of Refining

July 26, 2021

1 As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a fool.

2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back.

4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.

5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

Yisrael, do we not long for the day when Yahuah's restores righteousness in every realm of His dominion? There is a holy and set apart (qodesh) order and may we all be blessed to see and experience it. As the entire world continues to spin around in the midst of extreme weather and social unrest, we can take refuge in our Abba Yah who holds the world in His hands.

No one can curse who and what Yahuah has blessed.

Do not allow yourselves to be carried away with various doctrines that do not align with Torah.

Do not cast the pearls of Yahuah's wisdom and Truth before those who have no heart to understand or heed His word.

Walking Through Proverbs 27: 1 KJV

A Time of Refining

July 27, 2021

Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Even with the best made and laid plans, Yahuah reigns Sovereign over all things and everyone. It is His will and counsel that will always stand. Truly our souls wait upon Him. He is our rock and our salvation; we shall not be greatly moved by situations or circumstances. We will trust in Yah

Walking Through Proverbs 28: 4-10 KJV

A Time of Refining

July 28, 2021

4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.

5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek Yahuah understand all things.

6 Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.

8 He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.

9 He that turneth away from his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination.

10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.

Walking Through Proverbs 29: 25-27 KJV

A Time of Refining

July 29, 2021

25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in Yahuah shall be safe.

26 Many seek the ruler's favour; but every man's judgment cometh from Yahuah.

27 An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

Walking Through Proverbs 31:1-9 KJV

A Time of Refining

July 31, 2021

  • The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.

  • What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?

  • Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.

  • It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:

  • Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.

  • Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

  • Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.

  • Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.

  • Open thy mouth, judge righteously and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

Shalom and Siemi Family,

Let us teach our children the words of Torah prophecy so that their trust and spiritual foundation is in Yahuah and not man.

Have a blessed Shabbat.
