...And they bowed down their heads, and made obeisance. Genesis 43:28

Healing Our Emotions

Have you ever heard, The way up is down?

Family, this is how we heal from our brokenness as a people. 1Peter 5:6-7 says, Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of Yahuah, that He may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for he careth for you.

Yahuah does indeed care for us, His people, but did you know the source of ALL our anxieties came from Him as part of the curses for breaking our covenant, as recorded in Deuteronomy 28? We need to understand how we got here and where we went astray from Yahuah. We also need to understand that Yahuah means what He says about His word and His people. It would be foolish of us to read His word on this topic and choose to continue going our own way without Him and Torah. Read below.

But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of Yahuah thy Elohiym, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:....

And Yahuah shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but Yahuah shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life....

I would like to propose that what we as a people are going through is the fruit from the root of the spirit of anxiety.  And because of this root of anxiety, we also suffer generationally and chronically with fear, high blood pressure, anger, abuse of every kind, and a whole host of other physical and psychological maladies.

TIP: If you are meditating on appropriately expressing your anger without sinning as Ephesians 4:2 instructs us, you might say out loud (at home) "I" can be angry, but I will not sin; I will not let the sun go down and hold onto anger; I will not give place to the devil. Or if you are meditating on not being anxious as Phillipians 4:6 instructs us, you may say, "I" will not be anxious about anything. I will pray to Yahuah for help and His peace will keep my mind and heart safe from worry."

Fear

Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of Yahuah.
