The Torah is very clear and teaches Yahuah's people that we have enemies and are constantly under attack physically, mentally, emotionally, electronically and spiritually. There is no opt-out clause for this kind of  assault. In fact, we must expect and be prepared for it. How do our enemies do this? Consider how your senses (eyes, ears, mind) are constantly bombarded. This is why we do need to pray that we are not lead into temptation, aka Yahusha's Prayer to the Father.

Matthew 6:9-13

 

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial that has come upon you, as though something strange were happening to you. 

1 Peter 4:12 BSB

Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering. 

1 Peter 5:8-9

 

Finally, my brethren, be strong in Yahuah, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of Elohiym, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of Elohiym, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Elohiym:

Pray Continually

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I (we) may speak boldly, as I (we) ought to speak.
